Jacob is an Executive of Rouse, Head of Rouse Guangzhou office and China Enforcement Group. With both English and law background, he spent one year in the UK under the Lord Chancellor’s Training Scheme for Chinese Lawyers with study in a University and a placement in the solicitors’ firm (Walker Morris) and Barristers’ Chambers (Hogarth Chambers). 

Jacob is a member of the Editorial Committee of INTA China Bulletin, also serving as a panelist and arbitrator before WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, a panelist before Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre.

His practice mainly covers trademark, unfair competition, domain name dispute resolution, IP arbitration and IP related commercial law. Jacob has represented both national and international clients before Chinese authorities, courts, China Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre and WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre, advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious IP matters. The domain name service team led by Jacob is one of strongest and most leading service team in China and helped with international and Chinese brand owners with complex domain name disputes.
